This month I’ve been watching Mindhunter. It’s an odd but good show. At times I felt as though the show wanted to be a documentary but for whatever reason that wasn’t feasible.


I liked how it mixed the genres of crime, mystery and horror into one. This isn’t a straight up police procedural. It’s not about detectives solving cases. It’s about trying to prevent violent crimes and spot the signs of a killer early on. That’s what makes it so interesting. It’s a type of crime show I don’t think we’ve quite seen before and I’m looking forward to the next season.

As both a Netflix show and a product of David Fincher, Mindhunter also boasts great production values and a good cast. Although the main character is a little grating. I also want to praise a particular scene right at the end of the season for being one of…
