We couldn’t escape our fate,
The nuclear fusion of hate.
War killed the innocent,
War killed the innocence,
You can rebel against it,
But you can’t kill a system.
Our leaders were never reasonable,
But now war is almost seasonal.
There was never any reason in violence,
But the monetary gain of the high ones.
Now peace is for radicals,
Social Welfare for animals.
Maybe out leaders aren’t so great,
And maybe war’s just political bait.
And questioning is treason to them,
And they can’t give a reason when they try to justify war.
Nice poem!!
