Hello, and welcome back to Record Stores Around The Country. Today we’ve got Rock Bottom Records in Whistable, which is an ocean side town one or two hours out of London.
The first thing I noticed when I stepped inside is the sheer range of price. There was everything from a bargain bin and £2 cassettes to £100 Japanese pressings of Beatles albums. The albums themselves were pretty cheap, and I got myself a Jean Michael Jarre album for £6 (Ambient electronic stuff).
Anyway, speaking of what I bought, here’s what I bought:
Oh, and as an added bonus, the guy who ran the shop gave me a free pin for my leather jacket for a local band called Anabollic Steroids.
