This is my favourite record of 2017 hands down. The lyrical mastery on this record is on par with Elton John and Bob Dylan at their respective peaks. And the vinyl version of this album is nothing short of amazing. It sounds so much better on vinyl, because it is compressed less, and has a much wider sonic palette than that of the online version, with a much wider bass/treble ratio and less mids. Now, for non-audiophiles who have no idea what I just said, the record basically just sounds a lot more lush and expressive. This is just one of those albums that you have to have on vinyl.

I bought the standard edition, but for an extra $10 you can buy the deluxe edition, which comes on marble vinyl and lets you choose one of four different covers with some ingenious packaging.

Anyway, it’s a real future classic, and it doesn’t get enough attention so definitely check this album out if you haven’t already.
