Music review: Reviewing my own EP

So, I’ve had the amazing idea to review my own EP, as a kind of parody / critique of my EP.

Here we go, a track by track.

ENDLESS – IMPERFECTION:

Not bad for his debut song, but the lack of progression means it just kinda drags on. I also think another thing that would help would be if it had lyrics, but overall, not bad.

Rating: 6.5/10

SUNSET – IMPERFECTION:

This one’s a bit better, and has a higher quality chord progression. I really like the pizzicato strings at the end, it’s probably my favourite part of the song, although the production is not as good as ENDLESS.

Rating: 8.5/10

WILL I DREAM? – IMPERFECTION:

This one is my favourite of all the songs on this EP. It flows really well, and the sample is very well done. It definitely seems to have a higher level of quality then the other songs.

Rating: 10/10

WILL I DREAM? (Extended mix) – IMPERFECTION:

This one isn’t very good in my opinion. The remix barely adds anything besides a new drum beat and a couple more seconds. But of course, the original song is still very good, so I’m on the fence here.

Rating: 4/10

FINAL RATING: 7.5/10

So all in all, the EP isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty good for a debut.
