Hunt for the wilderpeople movie review

I wanted to watch a film on Monday, so I decided to watch this and I was shocked in a good way.

This movie is brilliant. The cinematography is beautiful, the acting is oscar worthy and it has one of the most well-written screenplays in the past decade. The directing is brilliant, and surpasses any expectations I had for it. It is probably the best movie of the decade.

The movie is bleak, but it has a warmth in its center that makes it so emotionally powerful, and quite a lot of the shots look like they would work as a piece of fine art and I’m sorry, but I just cannot criticise this movie at all. It is literally perfect on paper and in it’s delivery. It’s just so poignant, and so powerful, and you have to watch it if you haven’t already. It just goes to show how amazing indie movies can be.
